2. STRAWBERRIES PROMOTE EYE HEALTH

The antioxidant properties in strawberries may also help to prevent cataracts—the clouding over of the eye lens—which can lead to blindness in older age. Our eyes require vitamin C to protect them from exposure to free-radicals from the sun’s harsh UV rays, which can damage the protein in the lens.

3.  SOME FACTS ABOUT GRAPES

The sugar in grapes is easily digestible. Grapes purify blood, give energy to the heart and help reduce anaemia.

GRAPES NUTRITIONAL BENEFITS

  •     Grapes contain high levels of Vitamin C, K and copper, good levels of vitamin B6, B2, B1 iron and potassium. They are free of cholesterol.
  •     Grape skin contains loads of beta carotene, lycopene, ellagic acid, reservatrol and sulphur compounds. The seeds contain tannins, polyphenols and poly unsaturated fatty acids.

4. Stay healthier:  Watermelon has lots of lycopene, a key plant antioxidant that is famous for fighting heart disease and prostate cancer. Tomatoes are usually considered the lycopene all-stars, but you have to cook them in a little oil to release it. Watermelon, on the other hand, needs no cooking to unleash its lycopene. And, cup for cup, watermelon has 40% more of the antioxidant than tomatoes do.

5. PAWPAW (PAPAYA):

Most of us know that papaya fruit is a popular refreshing palate cleanser. Did you know that papaya has a beneficial effect on digestion? Because of its low calories and high fibers, papaya also makes a perfect fruit to compliment an Endomorph diet especially for those who want to lose weight.
